Nong Khai !?

Howdy !

I have been looking at Nong Khai on the Web and I find it to
look very nice indeed.

Anyone out there that can tell me a little bit about that place ?
Is it a lot of farangs there, are people as used of farangs there
as in Udon etc.
As I can see it, more farangs live in Udon then in Nong Khai.
Nightlife ?
Prices, same as in Udon ?

I am going to start living in Udon, but Nong Khai look very nice
so I will look in to it when I come.

I be happy for all information you can give me.

There's a bar in Ban Dung called the "Up to You" bar, about 5 clicks out of town. Go and ask there and I'm sure you'll get all the information you need. Don't go in the toilet though, you might be offended by the sign.
Also, while you're there, ask for Changgers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I think it's a nice place as well. I like bimbling around Tha Sadet market and porking out in the riverfront restaurants. It seems to be less hectic than UTH.

I've still got to check out that Danish Bakery place, I can't remember its name, probably something as simple as the Danish Baker.
