Another drug gang arrested in Udon......the gang allegedly sold amphetamines to tapioca and sugarcane farmers working their fields. The cops seized the typical Vigo truck, cash, a gun, and a few wads of cash. All in a day's work for Udon's finest. What caught my attention was the comment at the end of the article, Ms. Khanungnit, age 32, said she had been married to a foreigner (not further identified) but was now divorced. After she divorced, she pawned her home for 400,000 baht and bought 20 bags of pills to sell. Ms. Khanungnit is seated second from the right.

pitol appears to be lightly framed. No apparent trigger guard. Upped my IE to 400% and it shows what appears to be a charging bolt on the left side of the receiver. perhaps it is a .22 caliber long-barrelled single-shot target pistol?? It definitely is not the usual Thai "shooter" 10MM assasin automatic prevalent in most hits over here..

My Thai capabilities are NOT the equal of our esteemed Parrot.. Any news in the article of track-backs to any "influential people" involved or the wholesaler the perpetrator purchased the Yaa-Baa from??

No reference to 'influential people' (as I read the article)...but the article mentions the weapon as a .38 cal. (อาวุธปืนขนาด .38)

Actually, my Thai sucks......but I decyphering the local news over trying to read a Thai language book. It's basically what I did in the military for a long time.....just in a different language.
