Morning Guys
Looking to do some DIY re grouting the tiles in some areas of the house. Does any one know if places like Homepro etc sell the tool that removes the grout.
Any info will be gratefully received.

Use a screw driver or scraper to remove it then use an old thong cut up to re install it.

I brought one from the U.S. last month. You are welcome to borrow it, if you can not find it locally; but we live in Ban Chiang Pang, about 12 Km northwest from the Ring Road, quite far from you, I believe.

I have seen them in Global......maybe in Homepro as well. It's been a while......but if they carried it at one time, they probably still carry it today.
It might be best to google a photo of one and take it to the store to show.

I use a special grouting tool. I don't know what the name of the tool is. It's a rectangle piece of hard plastic with a handle on the top side and thick piece of rubber on the bottom side. You can use it for the grouting as well as to remove the grout. About an hour after grouting you can remove the residue on the tiles with a normal sponge.

I bought it at Tool Pro, because I couldn't find it in any other shop.

Some kind of squeegee. It looks similar to this one:

If you want to remove old grout, easiest way is to use a screwdriver or a large nail. But you have to be careful not to damage the tiles. You won't have to remove all the grout, only the top layer.

You could also remove old grout using a small grinding bit on a drilling machine.
