Thai Airways International - Complaints and Issues

Further to this post below

http://www.udonmap.com/udonthaniforum/p ... f2#p361297

Just lookng at the BKK - LHR flights as thats my route for work , it seems that the midnight flight , arrives now in Frankfurt and then its a code share to LHR with Lufthansa. Woken up earlier for this. This is the Airbus

The 1330 Flight is an old 747 and flies direct into LHR

Wondering if this is part of the EU rejection of some of their fleet as per the above topic posting ??

A quick search of google does not show any Thai Airways planes being blacklisted anywhere in the world. [-(

They are also given a 6/7 safety rating on this site:

I suspect the upset passenger in Dero's cut'n'paste was indulging in a bit of pud pulling. Such a ban would have been all over the news here. :D

The last line of that australian story is interesting:

"The ACCC agreed to allow Thai Airways to pay its fine in instalments, due to the airline's ongoing financial problems."

Both made the local news, wazz.

Of course, the second issue involved a "Royal Thai Airforce" plane, so not strictly Thai Airways related. :D
