Ok whats all your stories?

1.When did you first come to Thailand? and what age?
2.why did you come in the first place?
3.What keeps you living here?

for me:

1.year 2000, 24
2. Booked a golfing holiday knew nothing of Thailand all before internet, but had a good time and decided to live here full time
3. work offshore here and have a family with wife and son and 2 dogs living in Sakon Happy yes, miss my home country also from time to time!! most likley retire here but you never know!!

Why?

i dont know, eveyone has different stories and some are interesting, i remember meeting a old american guy in a hotel in Udon one time maybe 12years ago who lived in Udon since 1965 wonder if hes still around

You must be referring to the good Dr. B who always wears a yellow ball cap everywhere he goes. If so, he's now in his late 80's and still gets out and about daily in Udon. I usually see him about twice a week while I'm playing out my weekly routine.
