Wow. Whilst many of us have problems settling in Thailand, this pleasant, chilled guy seems to have it made. To be admired.

This guy approached his life here in a logical way, thought each step through, and got exactly what he wanted. Nice!

I certainly look forward to spending more time in Thailand, but only six months. There is no better place to be in the summer than Alaska! 21 hours of daylight and few people.

well, at least AKWoodworker, you'll have a shorter flight back and forth.. My family is on the East Coast and that minimum 26 hour Trans-Pacific flight is a killer.. Add to it one day for going down to BKK and back and its is not something the wife and I look forward too.. So, one five or six week trip back a year is just fine...

I agree, when China airlines flew out of Anchorage it was a fast trip. Now we have to go through Seattle so it is about 21 hours.

Yes The guy did well. But I wonder if he had a small income would be same result?
Seems he had some stash himself as well as her.
Thai ladies that are comfortably well off, dont want a poor farang.
That would be face job! What would the neigbours think !
Even with my Hansum looks and sexy body she NEVER want the likes of me
