When they slap some MEDICATED powder all over your face, which inevitably gets in your eyes and BURNS LIKE HELL!

Why can't they just use flour? Then you could just add sugar, eggs, and milk... and maybe end up with a cupcake!

Get it Jack? 8-[

Me nothing I just stay home for a few days. My first experience with it was in Pattaya and believe me it resulted in a lot of fights. It wasn't just a few days, went on for a week. with a bad back getting hit with ice water, the muscles contract and it hurts like hell.

I have a car but as a norm I ride the little bike around town. Just easier. But you get hit with a block of ice it will ring your chimes. Your on a moving vehicle weighing a few hundred pounds with steel sharps edges all over it. You get blinded by the water, you could easily hit someone and kill them.

I have also been the recipient, of what the real ceremony is supposed to be, A dot of powder and few drops of water.

For those who enjoy the biggest water fight in the world, have fun.

For the b above reason's I will be home ;)

The "Extended" family freeloading bastardos and their friends (More freeloaders) turning up at my shop and drinking loads of piss at my expense. Not one of them would help me if I was sick or without something to eat. They would just laugh.

The spite behind the water throwing, especially towards Johnny White Bloke.
Reminds me of monkeys throwing their nonsense at the zoo.
Udon Thani, best seen through your car's rear view mirror.

Its good that recognized that you had a drinking problem and that it affected other peoples fun and you did something about it by going home to stop the temptation. :pirate:

Sorry fredy, have to disagree. Not harmless to all those who lose their lives every year and grieving families.

Good lad fredy - at least you are man enough to admit it. The thing I hate about Songkran is the fact that it takes place on days ending with 'ay'
