That alternative Udon Forum

Post by socksy » October 27, 2014, 9:16 am

There is a post on the other Forum (below) which I can't reply to. I've tried registering on this site four times now but cannot do so therefore I've given up.

Could an UM member please reply on my behalf which would be very much appreciated.

The best driving range is about 1-2 km from Global House DIY shop on the ring round. If going clockwise on the ring road take left at the traffic lights before Global. Stay on the road until you see a red and white construction on the right. I think it's a cement works. Opposite is the driving range but go slowly as it's not well marked and with a narrow entrance. I spoke to a guy there who said thre is a bloke who does lessons there.

Alternatively the Golf shop behind Central Plaza on Wattana Nuwong Road near the Adunyadet Road junction has a practice net inside, I know not ideal but I believe there is a professional there for instruction.

Oh dear socksy. You rank golf above loyalty to udonmap? You're a terrible chap. You're probably as grumpy as the greatest modern Scotsman Taggart. :(

Udon is growing joethrows. Maybe room for 3 forums in the not too distant future. I'm hanging my hat on udonmap. :D

Socksy loves his golf. I recall reading he's a bit of a hooker. :D

Careful GT ..... I've heard he's a dab hand at a slice or two as well so better stay at arms length.

Perhaps we could get Sparks to release "This town IS big enough for a forum or two" or just give DM a moustache and he could do the keyboards a la Sparks

Remember the song well in my young days Statts and every time I hear it, it reminds me of 'Adolf' on the keyboards

Wonder where 'Adolf" learnt the "Scunthorpe stare", I thought they were American?

There are some which utilise both, some stick to one, both can and do offer great information as well as witty repartee.
There are on both the KB warriors and some really SSOM but that is to be expected with the wide range of people belonging to both.

If you ask you can get a discounted price by purchasing a booklet and paying in advance. They claim they will be replacing the balls at the end of the month as the ones now are in poor shape. Nice management who make you feel at home there. They do need to introduce a sand bunker though which would be much appreciated.

Thanks. I'll give the one near Global a try. Guess that must be out past the small eating / karaoke places on that tiny lake.
..Not noticed a driving range up there before but sure will find it.

You can not be right all the time Jack. If you look at the third thread down on page one" Hillary to run in 2016", then go to the right hand side of the thread you will see the name BEATUS
