Police report for spouse visa.
Help! Has anyone gone through the process of obtaining a police/criminal report for an immigration visa? Is it neccessary to go in person to the office below? Or, can you do this through the post or visa service in Udon. Thank you for any advice, suggestions, experience?

Police report for spouse visa.
I have done this many times, there is an option to do this online, they work with a partner company who submit your forms, cost approx 3500 to 4500 baht but cheaper than the alternative. Note you need to buy a ink stamp to take your OWN finger prints before scanning the prints away. As said done many times for work and usually 10 days later have the certificate back. They also can send by DHL to your home country of required

Paul,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and advice. In a panic my wife decided to travel to BKK for a turnaround to get the certificate. It is holding up her spouse visa. Thanks again!!

The wife needs to get a police report from RTP BKK. Does the RTP need a special request letter from the foreign government body, because she didn't receive anything other than an email stating she needs to get this police report
and email it back to them.
Thanks!!!

"Note you need to buy a ink stamp to take your OWN finger prints"
That ones gone right over my head ............ how does that work? surely the whole idea of finger printing is to make sure you have the right person and as such needs someone with the correct authority to take and confirm that the fingerprints are from the correct person

Well have done it for years so go figure, First one I did was in person after that was all online. I would imagine as finger prints can't be copied easy to match to passport
