Too bad SUPER didn't work for you. That's probably one of the easiest tools. Since you're going to be doing this regularly it may be worth the time to learn to use AutoGK. It's a tool that can shrink your DVD format files to just about however small you want. It takes a little more configuring but it's not too bad. I've used this and gotten pretty good results shrinking full sized DVDs down to 700 MB that look pretty good on my TV. You can go even smaller than that if you want to. You just have to look at the results and see if the quality is acceptable. This converts the DVD to an AVI file which should play without a problem on a computer but if you burn it to a disk it takes a special player to watch it on the TV. If you do use this, make sure you start from the original version, not the DVDShrink version.

joey - sorry I mean using web bsaed email programs that allow 2GB files to be sent, they in turn send a mail to your recipient with a link to download the file. I'm thinking of the recipient more now and how long it would take them to download from the site.

Thanx again fremmel, I'll definitely take a look at AutoGk and spend some time learning abiut it...
