  Try ''assimilating'' and praying alot! :lol:Actually, it is quite easy! You do it mentally by comparing your costs here to your costs back in farangland while ignoring the costs to the Thai here! #-o

To join the society you must first complete the 1 night course 2hours, 101 living in Thailand from the Water Buffulo University

For assistance in fees and course requirements contact the director of new students applications Mr laphanpon on 555 65 555, it an easy course to do, held every Monday night in udon, many discounts and vouchers available from old lappy, if you pass the course, Lappy is also on the WBU board of Thailand studies trustees

The class starts at 6PM SHARP usually in the Richmond studies room, then after the sign in you proceed to the Irish training room, from there its a short stop to get you the Bar Codes card, needed to get all the discounts, but only if you pass.

Fees are paid in cash on the night , your check bin is due at each room,

Its easy no one has yet failed, unless your from Scotland, Lappy has a thing about Scotch.

good studies enjoy you stay

Ok I understand, Im the prototype of cheap charlie:-)

Im not, its only that when i play golf with some farang friends they pay ab 400 bath, and i have to pay 900 at Victory. If its possible to pay 400 i would choose that one right?

Of course is it other benefits by being a member.

Please be straight, and answer ok

I've belonged to to the IGA and UGS but currently limit my play with UGS because it's a much larger organization and has a much longer tenure with Udon golfers. Our weekly play date is Monday and several members play 3 days/week including the scramble at Sri Thani on Fridays. Most of us don't play on Sat or Sun. because of the number of Thais on the courses but the rest of the week is ours. You can find the annual schedule at many of the farang hang-outs. For myself, golf is the primary reason I live in Thailand and once I get too old to play, I hope they just bury me.

For additional assistance PM Pakawala.

Nice of you to think of me Rito.

Scorpio, you need to join the Udon Golf Society to get your discount at Victory. Our regular play day is Monday and we play all the (5) courses in the immediate area plus get out of town occasionally. Membership fee is 500 baht per year and you'll get that back with 2 rounds at Victory. Our schedule is posted at all the local golf courses and at various other establishments around Udon.

Our membership consists of about 60 plus members to date but never have more than 25-30 on any particular Monday - usually less than that. The vast majority of our members live outside Thailand and are only here on holiday.

As papaguido sez... PM me for more info.
