yes they do have a lot of monkeys,2 years ago we decided to go check these monkeys out,anyway we drove around the park where the monkeys live we then pulled into the car park with a bag of bananas we bought from some fruit vendors up the road.my son and daughter were having a ball feeding the monkeys when all of a sudden one of the male monkeys
attacked my son it grabbed him on the hand now and took a little chunck out of his hand, it happened so quick it took us all by surprise,anyway i chased this little c***t with a half a brick but had no chance of catching him.so we were driving back home when i started to worry about rabies so we took him to aek hospital in udon,the doctor says he needs a rabies shot and 2 boosters after the first shot,so that little trip to kumphawapi ended up costing around 10000 baht.so if your going to visit with young kids be careful.we have a laugh about it now but wasnt funny at the time.
