Tracing ex g/f

Thanks for the replies guys.

Thing is most of our 3 years together was spent in Pattaya , where I bought a home,and Bangkok.
We never spent any time back at her home or Isaan.
Thinking back she always had some reason why we should not go, plus a lot of time was spent sorting the house together.

So I think I want to now go see Isaan and where she came from,and maybe take the chance to locate her .
Not saying I would go meet her, that would depend on circumstances at the time.
Don't want to rock any boats, as you have pointed out.

Obviously I dont want to give the name out on here, ,not respectful.
But thanks for the tips, there are a few avenues to consider.

if you dont find her , there will be many more sweet thais who will glance in your direction , age ,looks and race not important , just make sure you have plenty of baht and you,ll be the most popular falang in town

Fact is that although the story started, thats as far as it got.

You see, my mother took ill and I had to look after her for 6 months.
Then I got a call from an old work colleague to say there was a job going , and so I have been doing that for the last 12 months.

Now my thoughts have turned to holidays again , and the curiosity is still there to have a look at this mysterious Isaan city of Udon Thani. The place I was told that I wouldnt like, and was to hot for me, and had to many mozzies, etc.
Actually to see the ex's origins, well , Its a sort of closure in a way I suppose.
But I appreciate some of your earlier comments about needle in haystacks, etc

let it go son. write off the financial & time loss as a cost of doing business in asia. dragging that excess baggage around will only make you overlook other opportunities. she has moved on to other gravy trains & wouldnt even recognise you now.
