My 900 had more power than i ever needed, and plenty heavy for highway cruising for 2. nice road to play on, though don't think i would drive something that heavy. the 750 would be perfect. looks like fun, but my mature state now wouldn't permit me to do that, well, not here anyway.

could probably build a small house here for what the bike cost. not for me. 8)

Gold wing you could buy a medium house. 900 is plenty for me. But those day of riding like that are over for me. I enjoy the sights and that is enough

IMHO,judging by the way he navigates such a heavy bike not once crossing white line and even when he ground's her still maintains his line on such a road,he is a pro, semi pro racing or police or military trained and very confident, great piece of driving. Saying that nothing would get me to ride pillion.

Whatever they wear they are both exceptional riders, that's a lot bulk to be throwing around there. V-6 engine so defiantly has the power and they were using it.

I have dragged the floor boards on the Dragstar but it was because I had to. it was that are take out the side of a bus that came out of nowhere on a curve. #-o

I'll take ride slow and ride again tomorrow =D>

30 year's ago, riding my Yamaha XT500 trial on road, wore down the protruding part of the sole on my ox blood Doc Martin's into the yellow stitching, it was a short sharp curve with a tar mac surface came out nicely to a wide road as it was on my way home from work and town at least 4 times a day, being 17 expert rider god's gift to women,no fear I pushed everyday on that curve, the foot peg folded up as they are spring loaded,a year before on the same curve I parted company from my Honda CG125,palm's of my hand's knees and ass ,plus the smart remark's from me mother detol in one hand tweezers in other to remove gravel and some small pebble's i had embedded in the friction burns, thank God/Allah she had no iodine. :yikes: :guiness: :guiness: :sleepy:

Look at the ground clearance, tyres useless to the point of dangerous in rain or wet road.
Before I go to all motorcycle rider's, admires and KNOW ALL'S, Harley's are slow, heavy, bad handling and all the other reason's used by people that want but can't carry a Harley keyring. Watch this, remember the dry weight of this model is 310kg. 250kg=1/4 of a ton.

great story unlick mcgee, i did a very simular thing on my yamaha FSIE when I was still on L pates - also did it again at that hair pin bend coming down that steep hill in patters, the one by the exercise park. Very sore and very embarrasing.
BTW, tried looking at the link in your post and got this-
The URL contained a malformed video ID

What makes you think there are old men on those bikes. That's not Thailand they are riding in, it's America as best I recall in Appalachian Mountains, not going to find pedestrians and dogs, wild animals eat the dogs. Pedestrian tend to stay near the camp grounds, nor on the open road. Little presumptive on your part my friend.

I wouldn't try that on any bike much less a Gold Wing. My skills are not where close to that.

An old saying lots of fast riders very few old fast riders.

Dont have to be presumptive git, Young kids cant afford these type of bikes and if they could they certainly wouldn't be driving these "old mans bikes" !!!!!! Young kids wouldn't have the experience these guys obviously have... So just an educated guess really...

Lets hope the pedestrians do stay near the camp sites and when these 2 pass they slow down a bit!!! They are having great fun obviously but IMHO taking too much risk for other road users, one slip and a lot of people are involved, for what??

Road racing is deadly including marshalled, over the year's how many died at the TT and in the six county's Ireland, Joey Dunlop must have passed that tree a million time's. Public road's are just that,if somebody stepped out on the road, have no doubt the gold wing would cut them in two and kill rider.
