I thought there was a thread on this subject, but can't find it in my search.
We're in the market for a 40-ish inch TV. Pretty much decided that LED was too pricey and plasma was probably on the way out. That leaves LCD. Sounds simple, until you start shopping.
Here's our situation: We only watch UBC, and don't expect that to change in the foreseeable future. No dvds or downloaded movies, no video games, wii, nintendo (and.....NO KIDS!)
Given that situation, would my UBC viewing be improved at all by opting for HD ready or full HD, or would I get all I can get from UBC with 720p?
I'm pretty much a Samsung fan as I know they provide good after-sales service at their shop in Udon (on Phosri Rd). But I'm open to anyone with first hand experience.
All suggestions welcome!
