What happens when an American is arrested, or worse, passes away while in Thailand? What can you have notarized at the Embassy? How do you let us know you are here in Thailand? Interested in volunteering to help us as a consular warden? When are we next coming to your area? Now is your chance to get answers to these questions and more.
Who: All Americans resident in ? or just traveling through ? Thailand are welcome to join us for an informal chat with American officers in the Embassy?s American Citizen Services Unit. We?ll be happy to answer any consular questions you have ? whether on notarials, passports, emergency assistance or anything in between.

Another great & simple idea from your Embassy jingjai.
They really do seem to act as if American citizens are their customers. A far cry from the attitude of mine I will jealously say!!

Have questions about the process to get your loved one a green card (to obtain legal permanent residence in the U.S.)? What happens if you lose your green card while visiting Thailand? What immigration benefits can you apply for in Bangkok? Where do you surrender your green card if you don't want to be a U.S. resident anymore? What is the diversity visa program? Now is your chance to get answers to these questions and more.
Who: Anyone is welcome to join us for an informal chat with American officers from the Immigrant Visa Unit (State Department), the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (Department of Homeland Security - DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (also DHS). We'll be happy to answer any immigration and travel questions you have-whether on fiancée visas, green cards, filing petitions or anything in between.
