Great! It appears that Dieter's recipes for that delicious rye bread, potato salad and other remain with us.

Yes, the name has changed, but the baked goods and other items retain the same quality.
Dieter's widow still runs the place, and the man Dieter taught his baking skills to, is baking .

The fresh baked goods are usually ready around 11-12 noon. Some days it's best to get there early, as they sell out of certain items by mid-afternoon. if you telephone, she will hold items for you. She also takes special orders.

I love A good bakery especially if it has some of the same things as dunkin donuts.

I'm in the market for some fresh baked good and deli meats. Is Udon Bread still operating?

They're still operating.

Stopped in last Thursday, after the ACS outreach, got yummy whole wheat for toast and sandwiches. Their fresh bread comes out after 9AM, but a day-old loaf from the refrigerator is still good.

Have to get in and out quick to avoid the pies - they stick to the ribs and slip to the hips.

Great place.

Am going to try and get there tomorrow after the main post office and immigration pitstops, although having got a reply on the other channel,maybe not the best day in the week for an apple turnover fix,hope a staff member can sell me some scraps

Do they do Whole wheat loaves? If so . any idea the price?
I get mine for 60 baht still hot. I noticed at Tesco Lotus a whole grain loaf is 99 baht!

Still in business but they moved quite a while ago.
In the Adjunyaded Rd still but farther 'out of town' than before.
Almost directly opposite the RuySuk I think is the easiest way to position it.
They are certainly still baking but I get the impression that the majority of their stuff is now baked to order rather than anything else.

Wednesday morning is usually very busy as they seem to host a meet up of some of the German ex-pats in & around town on that day.

Do you mean same side and nearer Wattana Nuwong road ?

No opposite side of the road to the original & about as far the other side of the Wattana Road lights towards Nong Sim as it was before towards town..
This is about it, but don't hold me to exact building.
As I said before the easiest way to find it is to look out for the RuySuk.
It is the building on the opposite side of the road, immediately after if heading from town towards Nong Sim..

Got interested as i bought some delicious bread at Villa 2 days ago from Udon bread.
