I have to say, like you the more I went about rural Thailand the more hospitable the people are. I am glad to say no ripoff schemes etc. I was always on the receiving end.

Sure I will catch hell for this one but still has a long way to go on ripoff schemes than big cities in the US. All you need to do is Visit San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Miami and you will see the ripoff artist doing well. However when you get to rural US the same thing happens with more friendly and easy going.

If you know the movie you will remember that the ones getting tortured were the ones doing the mocking.

Guess you missed that part. As most folks do not think rural folks are smart. Really a lot smarter than most folks give them credit. If it was not for the farmers and ranchers most of you city folks would starve. :lol:
