I suppose it is just the Thai way. Ever notice when Thais enter into this protracted dialogue with the sales assistants over a fan or a toaster. Fan? Plug in, select speed, end of story. Toaster? Pop in the bread, select setting, end of story.

Thais really make a fukken cowboy movie out of it. Khap khap khapum! Am I missing something? Is there a setting on my toaster that makes coffee? Can I plug it into my trucks cigarette lighter and it also has Sat Nav?
