for those actually lazier than me, OP was comparing prices of couple rounds of same drinks, between irish clock, impression, ok for overhead, and orange moon, too expensive when overhead considered, and surprisingly pointing out, cheaper at own establishment.

good marketing, and good observations of pricing and overhead

yes, boggles my mind also.
have to agree with OP, that's why my beer consumption is at Irish Clock, very respectable value for what it offers me, to my taste, and about the only other place i sip more than a couple, NM, again, relative to overhead and my expectations and preference of area.
now if a couple of those other places would move closer to town, i'd frequent them also. oh well. SangKaew is about as far as i will go, on the motorbike, for munch and beer. if taking car, the petrol cost as much as the food. TJ's is a weekly stop, about the furthest i go on regular basis. don't even bother with nong khai runs for bailey's if running low (luckily, well stocked), not worth the hassle for Ree to run over. 300 + on fuel w/car, and only saving 500 on a liter bottle. why bother. she won't ride that far on back of motorbike, so scratch that idea, damn.
actually works out good for me, saving my liver, as too cheap to spend more on beer than food. so most are doing me a great favor by being just a tad more than i want to spend on a beverage.
