Well I don't like fish and chips so I got 2 of the new HUGE T-BONES yesterday and cooked them up in the shop.
Bloody great taste and tender didn't have a steak knife and didn't need one.
As you can see in the pictures below if young Steve can chew it then thats enough proof anyone should need.

Post by Griffo » July 5, 2015, 7:31 am

Morning all, jimmy will be back in udon today and from today we will be opening Sunday's as per a few requests, we have A young couple in the shop, not much English spoken however all products are priced up so no different than shopping at macro or 7/11 as little English is spoken when you get to the till to pay for your goods, we will run this for a few months to see how it goes.

Cheers Gourmet Meets

Excellent to hear about Sunday trading. I managed a quick visit last week on Saturday, served by a very pleasant young woman who showed me what you had in stock and recommended some items. Wonderful cheese available and the pies, dare I mention pies, were delicious. Should get in again next week.

I went in yesterday & bought a few things that caught my eye.
Have not tried any of the stuff that needs to be cooked yet put everything else was spot on.
The Cheeky Chilli Chutney from Granny Salmons was especially nice & tasty.

For me though the star buy was some Pappafalang pickled beetroot.
Credit where credit is due, that was as good as I have tried from anywhere. Good enough to tempt me to try the pickled onions next time I am in... :D
