UPS fixer

Has anyone had any luck getting a standard computer UPS repaired locally? I have one that beeps as soon as plugged in, goes straight to battery-mode and doesn't charge even with good mains voltage. I already replaced the battery so guess that something on the electronics pcb is buggered.

While on the topic, anyone care to mention the make/model of their UPS of choice?

The large IT store, BD Computers (66 423291303), on Srichomcheun Road behind the schools between that Road and Phosri Road is where I would take it for repair or purchase. I bought one 3 years ago, it still works with a battery change during that time.

THB 800 for battery replacement. I had 2 repaired there.

Amorn sell batteries but they don't repair stuff much beyond replacing the battery which I did already (bought at Amorn) and it didn't solve the problem. I will see if BD on Srichomchuen have a clue.
