Urine tests

Someone forwarded this email to me.I thought it made a good point,any comments?

THE JOB - URINE TEST

Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt - doing drugs, while I work. . .

Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Old, but good.

The piss-poor state America is in now, there will be very few people left working, so the argument is mute.

Being a slackjawed layabout stinking facking bum has never been so attractive. The treasury can simply start printing money at an ever faster rate and we can all be beggars. Nobody has to work! It's all free!

Mr jumbo I believe I said "if the argument is mute", not, "if the people are mute".

But I guess that is a moot point.

It is hard for me to fathom a basic change in American work ethic,even though I have been gone for 12+ years.When I was working,most everyone I knew worked very hard,extremely productive with time highly valued!

I did notice that a majority of immigrants were not so ''time ''oriented!Living in Thailand,I now understand a different cultural concept might have been in place,although Chinese and Vietnamese were very good workers,different than most Cambodian,Lao and Thai co-workers!

But this post was made for a discussion related to the idea that those ''slackjawed layabouts'' being supported by the producers is unfair and if urine testing is done to get a job,then they should have to urine test to benefit!

The reason those on welfare don't have to pass urine tests is because they don't have a pot to piss in.
