I have no idea what you mean Mr. Nicey. As far as I am aware the situation you describe is not an available option.
You would now appear to be suffering from a persecution complex as well as everything else. I think it could be important for your well being that you immediately seek professional help.

Hello all again Ive been busy of late, what an intersting thread, mmm here is my take, and let me state at the beginning im not knocking anyone on the map but in my opinion most thai woman cannot be trusted unless you know them inside and out. We have seen these threads over the last 2 yesars on the subject of falangs being relieved of there money by scam artists false promises and out and out lier's there is a new word now i think needs to be introduced to the land of smiles it is now known as the land of scams for obviouse reasons which the doubters cannot deny, personally i call it the new thai dish SCAM TAM.
I agree there are some genuine thai ladys but these are very thin on the ground and unless you are well up on the thai way of thinking your 1st visit will leave you with a large hole in your pocket, after all what was the water buffaloe university set up for meeting a nice thai girl ?? dont think so. I think its not a case of will i be fleeced, its when will i be fleeced. At the end of the day a thai girl or woman wants a secure future and if it means lieing and cheating they will do that as that is what has been taught in the village.

I was looking forward to comeing to udon meeting a good lady and settleing down but the last eight monthe's and hearing of all the trouble with protests and coup threats i can only see the land of smiles turn to the land of snarls.

Up to you think, Khun Vlad

It is too bad about the experience your mentioned on the other udon forum. Take your time with whomever, wherever, next time.

Or, good luck in finding your honest, non-scheming, non-corrupt, wonder woman-soulmate in England or wherever you are perched.

These people that comment of these subjects really make me laugh! Most( not all) Dont even live here!
I Have been here, and if i may say so,sussed out these "people".
Lets go back to.....say UK?
You are Hmmm......... 60+? where will you find a woman of your dreams? grab a grannie venue? Lets face it,they are passed their sell by date..........same you!
Do you really think in your right mind, here is not the same? The only difference is.....money!
An old man (like me) gets a nice sexy lady as his partner! Phew! I'm so lucky!
Does anybody in their right mind think she actually LOVES you?
In your dreams!look at yourself! look in the mirror! your old, not handsome. overweight, and a foreigner!
Maybe get flack, but if you really think she loves you,Think !if you could only give pittance support, they would F u off!
I been here so long and believe me True love is seldom found.
For those that dont stay here long time, best you dont comment coz you have no Idea!
Out of all. the theme here for Thai women is......I have farang take care me! is that love?

I think we cannot generalize and put EVERY Thai woman into the same shoebox. It just doesn't fit.

I won't go into detail about my personal experiences since 1999, but I've lived deep "on the other side" and believe you me it is true that Thailand is full of Rizzo's everywhere farangs can be easily found, but there are still LOTs of Sandra Dees (to borrow from the Grease characters). I mean LOTs of them. BUT if you go for the low-hanging fruit or that which has fallen to the ground, you should expect rotted values or sneaky worms, anyway.

Just song-baht from one who has a Sandra Dee.

Cheers! :-"

Just for nostalgia's sake (I watched Grease 22+ times as a kid when it was in the theater - yes, that was before VHS). Yeah, yeah, flame me for it..lol!

Well Vlad, you started a 4-page thread on that other site concerning the honesty of Thai women, and many of the posters refuted your view, and criticised not only you and the title, but your way of thinking about Thai ladies/women as well. Some said your stereotyping was racist.

Sorry to say but it is not widely understood that Thais are known for cheating and scheming any more than other people on this planet.

As the mighty chang advised, take a look at yourself in the mirror.

Khon Dahm, was Sandra Dee the lady who caught the interest of Bobby Darin, or was that Tuesday Weld?

Ah, your talking about a real-life Sandra Dee

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandra_Dee

I'm referring to a fictional character in a very popular American movie of the 70's (set in the 50's) starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Rizzo was basically a tramp character. "Sandra Dee" or Sandy, was a wholesome "girl next door" character.

Thanks for that. Such a sad life for poor Sandra and Bobby Darin.

Yes, she was the Sandra Dee I was thinking of from the movie Grease. I wonder if they based the character you mentioned on the real Sandra? Well, I guess not if the one was a tramp and the real one was an alcoholic.

Do many parents name their kids Sandra any more? It's a nice name.

Sorry you refute what i posted, but im afraid that is my opinion which i am entitled to. Am i not allowed to post on the OTHER site god forbid. I will ask you the same question I asked on the other site Tilokarat, its a simple question that only needs a simple answear. Do thai woman have a reputation for lyeing and cheating. I dont want a lesson on other race's and countrys its about thais, and i never used any racist tone's all the times i have posted well over 500 i think, i have never used the racist card to attack anyone apart from muslims here in the uk. So why you had to make that remark is anyones guess.

Yes,Vlad, I agree that Thai women have a reputation for lying. In fact, I have yet to meet anyone in my life who has not told a lie. Thus, I will take a broader view than you and say that everyone on this planet has a reputation for lying including me and you.

Cheating...define it please. If by cheating you mean having multiple boyfriends, or playing around, there is probably a little of that amongst Thai women, and more, amongst Thai men. However, my test group is relatively small and includes a few Thai ladies and their families and friends, storekeepers, service people and so on. In any case the 'cheaters' would probably approximate the number of farangs in Thailand who 'cheat' in one form or another.

The upshot is that I find most Thais to be honest, upright and decent people.

I will provide you with a similar answer to this on the other Udon forum later.
