Anyone going to Laos ?
OT received this offer today from asiawebdirect.com which looks good value:

I've used asiawebdirect.com for bookings across S.E.Asia and have picked up 3/4/5 star accomodation at a discount. Never had any problems with them.

Looks decent enough. Is it located near the fountain area? Most of the guesthouses in that area charge 18 U.S. $. And have plenty of places to eat and drink. Might be worth a try when the wife comes along though. Says they have bathtubs in the rooms. Haven't done it in a bathtub in a long time. How about you OT?

Looking at the map it looks a bit of a trot from the fountain, OT's not stayed there.

You realise this is a fair way out of town? Nam Phou fountain - about 20 minutes walking away.
