Shotguns in thailand

Hi all
Iam a shotgun owner in the uk with the usual liscencing...
Can anyone tell me what restrictions there are in Thailand and is it possible for a farang to get a gun into the country?
Is there anywhere to clay shoot anywhere around Udon?

As far as owning a gun in Thailand then I think it is impossible for a non-Thai to legally do so, except under extraordinary circumstances - certain Foreign Government employees for example.
I think getting a gun into the country would be a huge undertaking for an individual to do in this day & age. I would suggest that unless it was to compete some sort of 'Olympic Games' type competition it would be virtually impossible, or exceedingly time & paperwork consuming.
Quite simple for a Thai person to own a firearm given certain conditions, & exceedingly easy if that person has connections.
As for clay pigeon shooting then I think this thread will give you the disappointing answer.

no chance legally speaking ,an air rifle is bad enough .on youtube you can see home made PCP air rifles
