just read the last few days about this trend of "angel dolls". first thing that comes to mind is "friggin nutters". and even the government saying people should not be superstitious and should stick to old superstitions ,WTF did they really say that  . Well apart from being really freaky to look at, perhaps they should watch the film "chucky". but after a ponder on it I had another thought, it's no more ridiculous than any other behavior here. one good point is at least they will stop buying puppies and throwing them out on the street when their no longer cute.

This the doll that Thai smile sells tickets for ?

Thai Smile Airways says it will sell air tickets and serve food and drinks to "child angels" for passengers who want to take their "Look Thep" dolls on board.

Yeah, I'm sticking with my inflatable woman. Since I repaired the last puncture she's never gone down on me.

The simple fact that the Thai Government and even the Thai Air ministry is taking this seriously shoiws just how superstitious and not on the samer planet half this nations people are, plus we get Monks blessing them, if one sat next to me on a plane I think I would do something unmentionable to it, like cut its throat.
This nation is really going downhill fast

Paul you will be cutting the wrong throat if it is male taking the doll on holidays?
Its not only the Thais whom are weird in this sometimes sick world.

What i find offensive is that Hiso's would buy an airline seat for a doll, when poverty is still widespread in Thailand.
Poverty in Thailand is primarily a rural phenomenon, with 88% of the country's 5.4 million poor living in rural areas. Some regions—particularly the North and Northeast—and some ethnic groups lag greatly behind others, and the benefits of economic success have not been shared equally, especially between Bangkok, Thailand’s largest urban area, and the rest of the country. Income inequality and lack of equal opportunities have persisted.

Yeah, right! These Monks should take a leaf out of the book of Anglican/Episcopal/Catholic Priests who DO NOT bless inanimate objects.
Or do they?
