Hi, ting-tong,

About 3 years ago we EMS'd a wrapped bbq grate to a fella in BKK.. it was lost.

We always take pictures of the addressed box or parcel with closeup of addressed label before posting so customer can spot it straight away, or in case it's lost.. we also keep and copy the EMS receipt.
If sent by Bus we do same, picture/receipt.

After 4/5 days of parcel not arriving we took our parcel picture and EMS receipt to post office and claimed, 'price of item'.

Postal looked around for about a month, couldn't find our parcel and sent us our claimed price for bbq grate.

About two months later postal found the lost parcel and returned it.

All this is good if you're the sender.. if only the recipient not sure how you'd handle it.

That's the story...

Best,
Doc

went in person to the central post office and had the manager get the delivery guy and got him to get the box from the wrong neighboring district so everything if OK now

surprising the receiving person (pharmacist) did not turn the box back to the postman, as its a bunch of junk to anyone (zero value), but serious rare motorcycle parts to me?
