Indeed my great gran Ena Baxter made great Soups and Jams
Haha, interesting fact!

When I was young I met Gordon (your grandad?) a few times in fochabers we were also invited to fish on their private stretch of the river Spey but my dad being a proud person never took them up on their offer Dad knew Audrey too and she now runs the company and has taken them so much further but that's in the past and must remain

And yes DM they do actually make great soups and beetroot but now so much more
When we lived in Elgin, our Auntie Sylvia was lodging with us while commuting as a shift-worker at Baxters in Fochabers. She used to hate working on the beetroot lines as her red-stained hands meant she had to wear those old-fashioned long, silk gloves when she dressed up for a Saturday night out at the Two Red Shoes.

Looks good. We have haggis so we are going to try making one.
Get those MIssion pizza bases (either Big C or Villa) and go for it. Like any pizza, keep the toppings thin.
Makro have a selection of pizza bases as well but easy enough to make your own

Jimmy not my tipple at all, but then rowies wouldn't be yours but enjoy washed down with a tennents lager
I had a squizz at the pizza bases in makro and only seems to have two sizes/brands of the thick ones. Do they sometimes have the thinner bases too? Maybe they flatten out when baking? I recall seeing pizza bases in Villa some time last year but I didn't purchase but maybe they were the thinner ones?

Tam to be honest not sure, the ones I saw seemed fine but if not to your liking why not make your own very simple to make. I remember many moons ago I used to make a thousand bases every Saturday and Sunday mornings, didn't take too long to make them from scratch and better tasting too. That was when I was much younger and a duty manager in pizzaland

Found some pizza bases at Tops (last pack) that fit the new air fryer perfectly so here's one of tonight's haggis pizza with Danish blue cheese.

Yes, frozen and give them around 15 to 20 minutes depending on the helping size. I pull the pan out a couple of times during frying and shake them up for even browning. I did some a day after I had done some bacon. The congealed fat from the bacon gave the fries an awesome taste.

I find giving them a spritz of oil when I shake them halfway through cooking helps crispen the outside.
