Today is Chakri Memorial Day, a celebration of K i n g Chulalongkorn taking the throne in 1782.

It is not a religious holiday, business as usual.

Those dates for individual Chulalongkorn are incorrect: Reign: 1 October 1868 – 23 October 1910
Coronation: 11 November 1868 (1st); 16 November 1873 (2nd)

I can never, ever forget Chula Day. It's also Mrs tam's birthday

(she won't allow me to forget that).

Two reasons to celebrate and never forget
