Try the store at the left hand side of Makro's car park entry. They do refurbished 2nd hand units if your looking for a cheapie.

better go inside makro, left side..., there was also a shop on the road just before makro , where they cut the big tree, in between the building material shop and thalaad montong...., i am not sure it is still there...

There is a shop on the main road into Udon just after the Tesco/ring road junction, it's the last shop in the first block on the right, they sell good reconditioned fridges at a good price with warranties.

ty guys could not find 2nd hand or recon shops guess they moved on.but did fluke upon a shop that only does shop fittings.they have big range of fridges plus few near new 2nd hand .i got a big 2 door that retails for 29,000 for 17,500 plus they del free

Or try one of the many closed restaurant and bars around town. Most used for short time, and should be in good shape, and discounted.
