Driving Instructor

Post by petl » April 10, 2018, 2:26 pm

My 60yo Thai wife at last wants to learn to drive (but not from me) and get her licence. I can't find much through the normal channels, can anyone please suggest a reputable, affordable instructor. We're located near Ban Chiang. Thanks.

I very recommend this company: http://udondriver.com/
My 45yo girlfriend learned driving a car and passed the test after 4 days.
The driving instructor picked her up in the city of Udonthani so no worry that the school is 10km outside Udon.

"4 Days" wow. When my Wife came to Australia she had weekly lessons for a year, and passed the test after the second attempt. Puts things in perspective really doesn't it ....

For a 45yo old local the traffic is sufficiently familiar in Thailand, especially if she has ridden a motorcycle all her life. It's all about traffic rules in the classroom and they're not that much complicated.
The situation is different from moving to a western country and learn the traffic rules there.
