I had an interesting experience with my recent 90 Day Report.

As per usual I posted it EMS last Monday. The envelope contained a completed TM47, relevant copies of pages from my passport, copy of my last report and a stamped self addressed envelope.

Received a phone call from a lieutenant 'someone' Tuesday, who spoke extremely good English. There was some confusion re my address as the envelope had my PO Box, Ban Dung on it and the TM47 had my residential address. I explained to that I did not have much faith in the Thai postal system hence I rented the box about 17 years ago. He seemed to be happy with that and said he would fix it and process my report - that left me a little confused.

Yesterday, Wednesday, our local post man stopped at our home and delivered my envelope. It had been readdressed and sent EMS = they paid for it!

Sent from my 1977 Apple II using 2 Heinz bake bean cans and piano wire!
