I made a simple wager with a few guys, I never expected to see what happened.

A bet on a hand shake is an honourable thing. Not quite a physical handshake, but a close thing. Honesty and integrity is something that makes us feel good. What has happened is dirty, mickojak has soiled that simple act of decency.

I don't want that wager to be paid now, the 5000 bhat is dirty. Give it to some charity, or forget it it, I really don't care. I have seen the ugly face of our society that no longer has values that I once took for granted.
If you're gonna do the ol' UM forum flounce (again), don't delete your PM's as you'll need therm when you come back (again).

Tam,
I wouldnt get too excited if i were you.
Why dont you research what happens on jan 6 when states still have pending election litigation, as well as those same states have had electors and legistators submit dual votes.

Let me know what you find out

Those "dual votes" aren't recognized as official electors, per the Constitution. Any "pending election litigation" is DOA. Nothing will change the results, Biden 306 - Trump 232.

Under the constitution, electors can only submit votes if they are 100% certain no fraud was involved.
If litigation is pending, no votes should have been cast as how ca you be sure there was no fraud.

Under the constitution, state legistalures have ultimate control over the voting process, that's their sole purpose.

Mike pence opens all ballot envelopes with the purpose of one side achieving 270 votes.
If in doubt, matter gets passed to house for a vote, but not a normal house vote.
This time it's only one vote per state, and mandatory to vote per your state situation.
Republicans hold the majority of states.

Good luck boys

You are 100% incorrect on the process.

The Democrats hold the majority in the House. In order for it to go to one vote per state, both the House and Senate must agree to it.

Looks like you and Trump need the luck.

100's of millions of Americans, and 1000's of Lawyers, have the same difference of opinion,
so, why don't we just wait and see

LOL. You totally skipped over a process. If it were that easy it would happen all the time. If or with that easy, Mike Flynn and Trump's idiot lawyer wouldn't be trying to talk him into declaring martial law to have another election. Pipe dreams.

Worst case scenario, it will go (once again) to Donald's, hand-stuffed... umm hand-picked but ultimately "cowardly" SCOTUS for the blessed coup de grâce.

The MAGA cap clutchers better hand some more dosh over to Trump's "poor me" defence fund ASAP. Apparently even the Mar-A-Lago citizenry don't want him squatting in their midst when the wheels finally come off his wagon. Lord knows he can't even afford the rents he charges others for squatting in his towers.

SCOTUS can't rule on a president.
They can only send it back to the house

=D> =D> =D> Finally, a correct statement!!!!

Isn't this debate just wasted space (chicken before the egg) for now. Only a hard-core Trump supporter would believe that this election isn't over, it's just waiting for the 6 January's Congressional Electoral College for certification.
