It's a shame that Declan does not check his facts first instead of mindlessly copying and pasting links from dubious sources. Really, who could possibly believe that storming Congress, killing somebody by smashing him with a fire extinguisher, locking down the building, destroying property, stealing souvenir's, spraying pepper spray at guards, unlawful entry etc, intimidating members of Congress....all of this and the perps only get charged with assault?

Declan mate, you are of course entitled to hold strong views, but people on this forum are not idiots. They recognise misinformation immediately and there is not one single post you have made here that does not reek of misinformation.

What's your point? If it is to persuade other that Biden lost the election, or Chauvin is innocent or America is going to hell in a handbasket; then you need to post credible information, not this codswallop from sites that have already been exposed as having zero credibility.
You are a dubious source!
Go check glalt. I back my statements up with sources. If you have a problem with this, find the posts and i will update.

I have also been a senior office holder for the Australian labor party, have lived in the USA for many years. Declan. A feature of the bible is you can drag up a quote to support any argument. In your case bearing false witness comes to mind. Or how about Ephesians 4:29 'Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear'.

The trouble with far too many Christians is they selectively use bible quotations to justify their own biases. Individuals who have their spirituality matched with commonsense, no problems. Individuals who claim spirituality as an exclusive basis to guide their life in the teeth of logic and science, its a good thing that their rod is with them and I bet it gets a heavy workout. As with organised religion and their hierarchies, every single one was exposed in the recent Royal Commission into child abuse, Every single one was morally corrupt.

So Declan, don't try to ram your Christian beliefs down my throat, and for Buddha's sake stop trying to ram the views of fringe loony, discredited media sources down the throats of people on this forum.

Hi Tamara/Whistler, between you can you come up with the precise identity of Brittany. Whilst you are at it, would you kindly give your expert opinion why Brittany accompanied a co-worker back to her place of employment at 1.50am on a Saturday morning whilst extremely affected by alcohol drugs. Feel free to denigrate the precise observations of the parliament security officer who documented what happened on the night. I am not slut shaming Ms Hughes/Higgins, she did it herself. Wow. Look at all the anger of these hostile people filled with venom over news they do not like and Bible quotes and people of faith. Only those who think the same way as they think are welcome here. Can not have a different view without being tormented. It is a trend that seems to be constant in every thread. It always seems to be the same 3 or4 or 5 or 6.

Get over yourself. Who's angry or showing hostility? You give yourself way too much credit. Just because I stated Bible thumpers are the biggest hypocrites it means I'm mad or hostile? Just speaking the truth, you should try it sometime.

It's the Girl Gang. And a few of them are mods, so the debates are decidedly uneven and skewed.

Any point they can't/don't wish to debate is deemed "ray-ciss" and trashed. They're awfully spineless creatures.

As Ken said, get over yourself. Tormented, what a crock! This smacks of that twisted conspiracy that Christianity is under attack in the Western world.

The Southern Baptist Church claims to be great Christian church, they also invented the KKK, a hatred for Blacks, Jews and Catholics, so spouting Christianity as always virtuous is a deeply flawed argument. The Proud Boys declare themselves to be protectors of Christian whites. I had to accompany my children to and from the bus stop in Texas because the sweet little Christian kids threatened to beat them up because we were not churchgoers.

My darling wife is a devout Buddhist, I respect her beliefs, your beliefs are yours, I respect everybody's right to their beliefs, that includes those of us who do not believe in an imaginary friend. You don't have to wear your beliefs on your sleeve, you can keep that private, but if you do claim your Christianity proves your viewpoints you are going to get a whole lot of pushback.

All about someone else and blaming your tormenting behavior on others. You are trying to credit me with things I never said or even insinuated. The Southern Baptist Church? KKK? Proud Boys? None of that is part of the torment that you and your friends bring to people on threads. And then bringing your wife into it for cover? How is she involved? Need something to prop you up as someone righteous in your attacks? You and your friends attacked the Bible. me. my friends. people who believe in the Bible. "imaginary friend"? That is an attack on people of faith. You can twist it however because you always do. Your response is a pretzel.

Can not have a different view here without being tormented. It is a trend that seems to be constant in every thread. It always seems to be the same 3 or4 or 5 or 6.

The Left goes after Justice Breyer for being against packing the court

https://www.dailywire.com/news/a-politi ... reme-court
The commission will be led by two left-wing partisans who served in the Obama administration. George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said that it was “not a good sign” that the commission was “notably stacked on one side.”

Court packing is so toxic that even socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) does not support it and has warned that if Democrats do it then “the next time the Republicans are in power they will do the same thing.”

Leftist Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, a registered Democrat, warned this week during a speech at Harvard that packing the court will diminish “confidence in the courts, and in the rule of law itself” which will lead to “diminishing the court’s power, including its power to act as a ‘check’ on the other branches.”

"Torment" - that could become the word of the week on the Map. :-k

If reading the responses to your posts really torments you Declan, seems you have 2 choices:

- stop reading, either voluntarily, or start your own "foes" list

- toughen up.

Some of your linked references torment me, so I chose the 1st option.
