Or did you just make your numbers up fatbob in order to try to prove that the coronavirus is a hoax?

Tamada you really are a piece of works. You obviously chose not to see the source so you could make another useless attempt at your bent humour.

A citation AT LAST. Always more polite to provide the link than fob people off with the unhelpful, "Google is your friend" or the downright rude, "go do your own 'research'". Many thanks.

Funnily enough, it appears to be a MSM item (one of a several) that indicates that the official and verified correct numbers are in fact worse than the "official numbers" being bandied about on social media by the pandemic deniers.

Since you originally opined that because the Covid vaccine isn't guaranteed to prevent infection in everyone, then it's not a real vaccine, when you take off at a brisk canter into the fake numbers stakes and suddenly appear to nobble yourself, well I hope you can appreciate my confusion and I am sure I'm not alone in that.

So the Covid Vaccine deny brigade are still in denial. A question then, finally in the Uk where we have now innoculated over 15 Million residents and the possibility of back to normality by the end of May due to the Covid virus being curtailed. Our death rates are finally coming down, hospital admissions are falling, and our R number is in decline. So will the Covid deny branch like to tell us why our fugures are falling.

doe's the vaccine prevent you catching covid?
The answer is, it depends.

Depending on the vaccine and you

For most people if you pick up the virus it will not replicate enough for you to pass it on.
For the Oxford even if you get enough virus that it’s noticeable and communicable you will not need to go to hospital and will not die from covid19

So the answer in general is that for over 90% of people you will be far better off vaccinated.

So don’t get vaccinated and you have a nonzero chance of death or serious after effects from Covid

Per Qatar Airlines website:
"Business Class customers are asked to wear their face shield and mask onboard at their own discretion, as they enjoy more space and privacy."

I stated this fact months ago and everyone told me I was lying, no vaccine can PREVENT everyone from getting the illness/ virus, BUT it will prevent in 99.9% of the cases from doing irreparable damage to the health of the person. Plus it does not specifically say if your have these underlying problems a vaccine will or will not, help you .

The Anti-vaxers are the ones being silly, including those who deny vaccines to their children. As a parent one is taking a huge gamble on your child's future health .

Your meaning is not clear.

However for almost everyone including those with risk factors, diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure, obesity, morbid obesity etc the vaccines here included them in the stage 3 trials and have been shown to be equally effective for them.

The only group that I haven’t seen data on are immunocompromised, either naturally or through drugs. For them the vaccine itself may not be safe.

Sorry not quite correct and almost certainly over optimistic. Over 15 million doses of vaccine have been given yes, but some percentage of those are second doses so the number of people is less than 15 million, more than 7.5 million sure but by how many is not clear.

As to the possibility of normality by the end of May, pigs may also fly but being under the flight path is extremely dangerous. Or in plainer terms you need to define what you mean by normal, if you mean exactly the same as before COVID19 there is no chance because that depends on the rest of the world and Thailand for one isn’t even going to start by then. If you mean preventative measures finishing, again unlikely either because they can’t vaccinate enough (new strains mean you may need 90% vaccinated for herd immunity) or because there are enough idiots who will not accept vaccination.

So it’s a nice idea but extremely unlikely to be realistic.

As to the numbers falling, it’s partly vaccination but at the moment mostly precautionary measures by the population, voluntary or forced

There may well be never a return to ' As before ' and in truth people are better off realising that now, than continually moan and groan . Mask wearing a normal action in crowded places and while shopping , we have learnt to raise our personal hygiene levels ( hand washing /distancing , plus not touching the face ) so what will be the 'Normal' , post Covid, who knows truthfully. International travel not only constrained but certainly more expensive ( travelling ) in any event. Huge rallies and Pop Concerts and other crowd events, will be muted to some degree , personal life will not be that much different , but it will require a different mindset that is for sure .

I am hearing that the Vaccine will only be available to individuals who reside in Vientiane Laos.
Anyone heard different on how distribution will take place in Laos

When I saw this news on the big forum, the name of the hotel in question was withheld in the Thai language media as usual. The Ambassador City Jomtien is owned by some pretty rich amart types so I can't see this having a happy ending for the prai that chose the cheap ASQ option.

"After 200,000 doses of Chinese-made CoronaVac scheduled to arrive next week, the first inoculation will be administered three days later on Feb. 27 – if everything goes smoothly, according to Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and a government spokesperson."
