I was busy flying international at the peak of the SARS virus alert and sharing air space with loads of coughing and gobbing orientals saw me seriously embracing the efficacy of the mask for the first time. Just because Cindy reckons it's all clear down in the land of the long white latte, I will still be wearing a mask and using hand gel if/when air travel gets busier.

My case I wont be flying anytime soon to the long lost cloud

Perhaps Covid 19 is as virulent as some of us suspected?

Here is a new twist on obtaining Covid Insurance Dont know if it is common throughout all Embassies/Consulates or just this one . BUT, its a heads up

"I am applying for COE from Royal Thai consulate Munich. Everything is fine except the insurance policy. As it requires medical insurance cover covid-19 with minimum medical coverage USD$100,000. The consulate need to see the wording “minimum coverage $100,000USD”
But I checked most of travel insurance only stating maximum coverage/ up to. I asked some of them and they replied that it is not possible to have such policy stating minimum coverage. "

That is screwed up. I'm curious how the recent Chinese tourist, the ones who had their trip delayed, what kind of wording they had in their Covid-19 insurance policy. I have personally never seen, whether it be car insurance, homeowners insurance, or health insurance, where there was a minimum coverage dollar amount.

Have you tried contacting one of the Thai insurance companies? Maybe that's what the government is trying to push everyone to do?

China's long run of zero domestic cases has ended with 12 people so far testing positive in the port city of Qingdao.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... ree-streak

It's been clearly identified and named a cluster as the city ramps up testing of all citizens, I think around 8 million people.

Meanwhile in Washington, at least 17 people related to the government of which 11 alone are from Trump's administration or inner circle have tested positive.

Why is it that so far, the world's media have chosen NOT to call the latter a cluster?

Maybe if the testing stops then the number of new cases goes down. Makes sense But makes absolutely no logical sense as to stop testing.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... ry/brazil/

After Googling this statement Noosard I cannot find any reports of Brazil stopping testing. Where are you getting your data from???

Easy
Check this world site
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

There test rate has not changed for the last 3 days
Stuck at 17,900,000
Reason I looked was their new infection rate suddenly dropped

iF you look at the NEW CASES it sits at 114,415 and then 2 days ago the cases sit at 8,429 I realize the number pf Total Tests hasnt changed so then how do the number of New cases over the cases 2 days ago change and that would be through TESTING in the past 2-3 days.
Also I said there are no News reports of testing stopping in Brazil

The worldometer does not keep a tab on tests, it keeps a tab on REPORTED tests.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Maybe they're having issues with their Excel97 testing spreadsheet as well?

What I am getting at, if you go back 5 days or more the new cases were about 30k
Last 3 days only 5k
Big difference in reporting
or is just weekend results
