Some declaim the way the USA has managed the Covid-19, but when it comes to the worst case scenario (Death), and the measure of the “Death Rate of Population”, the USA has a number of close friends in the EU, who have arguably managed it no better and in some cases, much worse. Take Belgium, the home of the EU Parliament, who leads the field, as a shining example of how to manage Covid-19. ???
USA 759
Belgium 1242
Spain 872
UK 764
France 682
Sweden 609
Netherlands 495
Considering that all of the above purport to have very good or excellent health care systems, in their respective Countries, it does appear to have made any real difference, when it comes to your chance of going six feet under.
To put it in perspective, in another way, the USA Death Rate, when measured as a Percentage of, "Deaths vs per Total No of Cases" identified, stands at 2.215%.
Yet that of Belgium is 2.691%, Spain is 2.731%, UK is 3.393%, France is 2.248%, Sweden is 3.476% and Netherlands is 1.895%. So once again these other developed countries have performed no better, by this measure, with some noticeably worse.
Thailand’s stats are much more admirable, compared to those above and it proven to be one of the safest places to be during this time.
