My feeling is that unless one is sick there is no reason to wear a mask. The problem is that one may be infected, asymptomatic and not realize they are spreading the virus so a mask might help.

Forte may have masks. They did have hand sanitizer two days ago.
The only way mask will help a non symptomatic infected individual to protect others Is if you are sneezing or coughing.

As for hand sanitiser, if you have a small spray bottle or a small foaming bottle and you are in my area (unlikely I know) I can provide refills for both kinds of sanitiser. One is alcohol based (I have a good supply for woodworking) the other contains no alcohol. I probably have sufficient base material to make 5 litres of alcohol based and much more of the non alcohol based foaming one.

The sanitiser is simple to make if you have the ingredients and I got a delivery from Lazada yesterday. I do not have spare bottles as my order from China was refunded. I may be getting some from Bangkok.

People who continually post about wearing a mask to PREVENT the virus from spreading are full of it
They are selling false hope to others which is and will be dangerous
Please have a look this short short video issued by the World Health Organization on the use of Masks

https://www.who.int/emergencies/disease ... -use-masks

If you are wearing a mask you are ill (physically) then and should be seeking Medical help

Take the number of deaths and divide that by 0.0077 and you will probably have a number to start from.

Indonesia is reporting 38 dead and 450 cases. So the probable number of infections is around 5,000

Italy 4,032 deaths 47,021 infections, probably really over 523,000

Thailand is reporting 1 and 411 those numbers may be accurate, the deaths could be under reported, the infection may have been controlled, the spread could be in the very early stages, there may be more deaths coming soon.

I don't think any forum members here have been proselytizing about how face masks prevent Covid-19.

I'm not ill but I wear a mask because it greatly reduces the amount of time I touch my face holes while out in public among all those dirty, hard, shiny surfaces where the mofo virus lies in wait.

Anyway, what's with this, "If you are wearing a mask you are ill" nonsense? I'm wearing an orange KNVB footie shirt but as sure as arses points downwards, I'm not a bloody cloggie.

I've a short break booked to Chiang Rai at the beginning of May, flying VietJet direct from Udon. Still 'on' at the moment. Found this on the Hanoi-based website.

"Notice of using face masks on flights and at airports
(Vietjet, Ho Chi Minh City, March 14, 2020) – For ensuring the health and safety for passengers during the Covid-19 epidemic, Vietjet requires all passengers to wear face masks when entering the airport terminals and flying with Vietjet.
Vietjet has been working closely with the authorities, airports, ground services companies to give instructions, information and recommendations to passengers in order to ensure the highest safety for them and the broader community."

I've asked the Thai section of the airline if this applies in Thailand. No response yet.

Sam
Your posting produced 4 suggestions on where to get a mask, maybe not directly but one could PM the person to get more information Hopefully you have tried all of them and if so here is one more
MAKRO were selling them if you would stand inline (close contact) with 50 or 60 other people BUT limited to 4 masks at 10 baht a piece (I believe)
There ya go 5 suggestions

You can use the Banggood app. Alternatively I’ve just opened the https://sea-m.banggood.com/ site on safari on my iPad, no problem.

However if the order for masks will be delivered is a bit of a different matter.
