We have all done it.
Typed masses of words without looking at the screen then found out its all in capitals
Now I am told there is a way that you can change it to lower case instantly, just by highlighting the text and then pressing a 'magic' key.
What I want to know is which is the magic key ??? (or is it just not possible?)
Upper and lower case
Re: Upper and lower case
It is possible in most of the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs Paul -
Word -
Word -
by selecting the target text and pressing F3 while holding down SHIFT, all the caps will change to lower case. Press F3 again, while still holding down SHIFT, and the first letter of each sentence will be capitalized. Another SHIFT-F3 will return everything to all caps. However, other capitalization - such as names, places, and titles - will still need to be edited separately.
Re: Upper and lower case
Shift Key & F3 Key together should do the trick
Of course you have to first highlight the text you want to change, as you mentioned.
Opps.... BH got it covered ..... never mind.

Re: Upper and lower case
That would be of great interest to me. I've had that happen often. You refer to MS Office. Does that mean if you have typed a Udonmap post or hotmail email, it won't work? Though I guess if long enough, you could copy and paste it into a word document, correct it, and then copy and paste it back again?!

Re: Upper and lower case
If I have done that, I cut & paste it into Word and change the case in there.
