Hi Pal 52.
Thanks for asking. Yes, they are at Cheese 2 Meat You.
As we had a few question about the taste and quality, I decided to give them some exposure in Brick House.
Cheers
Maxx

Called in today and bought a couple of Chicken Tandoori.

Just tried one and it is very nice.

Maybe a little tiny bit spicy but Max is serving it with Salad which should make it perfect.
Everyone has their own tastes.

I tasted mine without any salad or anything so it would be a bit Spicy.

After tasting it I had mine with some homemade Mango Chutney which made it perfect for me.
Have not tried the other flavors yet.

I presume Max would post the BH specials .. tho.i see he used another thread to do so on the last occasion .

Life must be tough or very tedious if worrying about who posts a weekly special should arouse such agitation ..there again it is the rainy season n covid mentality perhaps leads to such behaviour .
Disclaimer ..i am.only a buyer and eater of the BH specials with no direct financial interest other than so far they have been blloming loverly n good value .

To be honest, knowing the special might inspire piling the kids in the car after their long days at school, and going across town during rush hour. My son really liked the pork tenderloin last month, and he is not easy to please.

Happily the entrpreneurial Drunk may have better and more direct marketing tips for everyone, in case my subtlety was missing its mark.

I SAY THERE Mr Tom .. THATS A BIT UNDER THE BELT , A LOW BLOW , SAY WHAT ?????  ... im sure the use of a telephone call , text , line or PM to Max could have solved this problem without the need for a willynilly post on UM .

BTw i dont offer any marketing advice tips FREE , sink or swim ... and more so i only get drunk certain days of the week whilst not working .. sometimes i bunch em together ..its called a stress relief session where i come from .. in the US they go buy a gun and kill each other ..hey ho.

Have a special day.

No offence taken at all sir , you must of missed my LOL emojis ?? ... i too like the BH specials when in town ..and fortunate that Max n mine paths cross often as i deliver to BH occasionally and his freezer storage unit is next to my office so i get to find out whats special etc direct from the horses mouth (not that he looks like a horse ..much)

I first spotted the BH specials on the face book when i clicked the BH banner via the UM home page.

DONT SEE ANY BICKERING HERE ????

Cheers

Weekly special.......

Post by Brick House » July 27, 2020, 10:08 am

Good morning.
Unfortunately, (or maybe I should write fortunate) beside my working times, I am not gifted with loads of spare time to read every day all the news, forums and social media. I also refuse to let social media and my phone take control of my time and life. For all these reasons, sometimes, I am not able to answer al questions and remarks strait away when one of you post them. I hope with this, I not offend any of you. But if you feel I did so, then it is so.
-
Brings me to the core point of this post. This weeks creation of the chef.
-
An old classic dish. Simple but so nice to eat.

The mash potatoes mixed with raw endive and bacon bits, is in Ireland known as colcannon.
Regards,
Maxx

Is the mashed with endive?
Something similar to Steomp?

Hello,
There are so many varieties and names of similar dishes around in the world.
As me being Dutch, we call this: Stamppot rauwe andijvie.
I think the description on the flyer is pretty clear.
Next time I might write the name of the dish in Dutch language and everybody can translate it to what he or she thinks is the proper word in his own language.
Best regards,
Maxx

Got to agree. Using the ethnic names will make members browse the internet and if they don't come down and try it, at least they've enlarged their culinary knowledge.

Hachee soon or maybe some snert when the weather cools down?
