Missing the breakfast buffet

Two 5Star chicken legs & sticky rice shared with The Girl.
An iced latte with 50% sweetness as I needed a bit of a boost

Pickled Hegg wholewheat baguette ... expecting a blustery spell later reminiscent of the 1974 Flixbourgh chemical plant explosion when a young whippersnapper DM was blown off ...his tomohawk bike by the pungent blast.

Enjoy... an early xmas gift Tam

Saw a couple of flavours of St Dalfour in Big C earlier. I remember this brand being particularly nice in the UK although didn’t buy any on this occasion

You missed out and rich, we can't all be rolling in cash some of us have a poor working man's income, if you see me in there it's only for Barr's iron brew and shandy for the misses who swears she gets pished on it and that's only with a pay day loan 😜

Good day.
Niggly, as our uncontested breakfast expert, is there a low sugar-low fat commercial yogourt ? I don t want to make my own. You mentioned St Dalfour jams purchased at Bic\g C, i tried them 2-3 weeks ago, on special at 79 B, i found them a bit too sweet, the bitter-orange marmelade was fine. Last week for the first time i noticed that Casino had a Rhubarb jam, i will try it soon. I would prefer the strawberry-rhubarb jam. Keep your breakfast menus coming, fun readings.
Stay safe. Enjoy.

Well, I’ll just start by adding three banana muffins to my breakfast menu which I hadn’t noticed Mrs N buying. Very nice 👍

I’m not really a jam/marmalade fan to be honest. I’ve had a jar in the fridge for ages & it hardly gets touched.

As for low fat/low sugar yogurt, I buy Meiji natural yogurt.
It’s nice in its own, sprinkled with a bit of muesli or my particular favourite mixed berries. I’ve always got a bag of berries in the freezer for milk shakes & smoothies but if you add them to the yogurt they melt while the kettle is boiling for coffee then a quick stir & hey presto a low fat fruit yogurt with no added sugar or preservatives

I won a bit on the Thai lottery and thought I’d look on the high side of the street and gingerly ventured into Villa. Found said Roses jam.
Snuck a jar into my bag without looking at the price so don’t ask.
Bought the lemon and lime variety.
Very nice on my toast and a perfect accompaniment spread on top of my planters creamy peanut butter.

Normal Breakfast
Toast and thick Vegemite.
Toast and squashed banana with honey.
Toast peanut butter and jam.
Herbal coffee.

Woke to a power cut this morning
I was a bit slow in coming round so was laying in bed thinking I can’t have my morning cuppa as I can’t boil the kettle when it dawned on me Mrs N’s stove is gas so I could heat a pan of water 🙄
Just a mug of instant coffee & some cornflakes this morning, eventually

DM how is the weight loss going? Your start and current weight, after how many weeks?

Must admit when I revert to old eating habits my weight seems to go back up.
