Blood Donor Register

Well having been on the register fro the hopsital for a number of years, and also being O neg, they have never contacted me, so therefore I assume that they never needed it. This point I might add, I found out they had needed it, but did not ring me, for a variety orf reasons. So one asks , what is the point, as they seem reluctant to followup on their own rules and encourage everyone to give blood. Thai or Foreigner.

I tried to donate a few months ago, but was declined. Maximum age 60 I was told. So many of us are too old to donate.
