-yes, inaccurate from a cartographer's viewpoint BUT, that said, -it's actually down to quite a lot of history and 'cultural identity' factors.

What Brits and Europeans call the Far East is to my west and is the near east or near north for Udon. I'm getting giddy.

so what side does your sun rise?

and the deep south is north of Florida, so not that deep really

What about the Middle East? Wasn't that the near east before? And.........why isn't it in the middle? Most the middle east is in the west of Asia. What could possibly be the only answer?
