Do you mean that elsewhere they tend to wait until they get the guy that actually committed the crime?

elsewhere they are only able to attract failed losers into the ranks. school dropouts, sons of janitors, sons of ministers of christian religions , etc.stattointhailand wrote:Do you mean that elsewhere they tend to wait until they get the guy that actually committed the crime?

oishi green tea genmai flavour in the orange bottle. currently at least 2X500ml bottles a day.will cut down to 2 or less. thanks for the suggestion. yes its probably too much. makes me laugh and smile too much, but cant see how its going to raise the quality of those substandard farang police.
oh theres currently a green teas price war on so discounted bottles galore everywhere, get in while you can

They spend far too much time sitting behind their desks GG, perhaps we should halve their salaries and make them get off their a*ses and get out on the streets on their pushbikes. Cut the cost of the UK prison service at a stroke as well if they spent less time catching criminals and more time collecting tea money :-"

I'm from Texas and we are very proud of our state and of our country. Greatest country in the world? Probably not, I'm quite sure there are many other places that would hold that title. I'm almost 63 and in my life time I have seen so much change, sadly much for the worse. If you get away from the big cities and meet the real Americans I think you would be impressed. The lust for more $$$, homes, cars, boats, trucks, land and more $$$ has just turned me off completely. I love America but am much happier here in Udon, the simple life.

The America I grew up in is no more.

.
Sadly I think that could be said about most countries including my own, Gt Britain. Whilst I still feel a stong affinity with it, the changes it has gone through makes it almost impossible for me to live there, especially in my retirement. But then again I have lived here in Thailand, on and off, for over 30 years, my God the changes over that period of time are unbelievable, some for the better but most not .I often wonder if maybe its part of aging saying " Things ain't what they used to be", but seriously there not and I feel glad that I am nearing the end of my life and can just opt out of things I find unpleasant and continue to enjoy the others.

Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

Re: What makes America the greatest country in the world
Fortunately I think I have a few years left in me yet but I have to agree with truebrit, things really aren't what they used to be. Back in the day, people were kinder, less insular, we really did have a key on a piece of string inside the letter box. We really did have respect for older people, policemen and teachers etc, something that's sadly disappeared too. We were lucky, we played in the street or over the woods, built camps, played 30 a side football, made rope swings and generally had a great time, the kids today are zombified, they walk around staring at a 5" screen that controls their life. Thank heavens I was born in the 60's

Re: What makes America the greatest country in the world
I have had a LOT of fun trolling @trump for a YEAR and even read The Washington Post online (I dont subscribe).. better reality TV show than Celeb BB in UK.. Ding a ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.. (my best impression of the banjo in Deliverance.. = trump voters).. reaping what they voted for.. such a lot of fun from tiny hands n his massive ego.. I read what Howard Stern wrote (name drop Vince).. pal on radio.. who says Trump is pissed he actually got voted in.. and a case of WTF now prevails). Kelly? Bless.. sort your hairdresser.. Sean.. SEE SNL totally hammer him with Melissa McCarthy targets Spicer on 'SNL'.. that said.. God of any nation(s) bless freedom of speech.. Melissa nailed it.stattointhailand wrote:If America is "The greatest country in the world" , why is that nice Mr Trumpet saying he is going to change everything? Just askin'
Lastly.. trump said Alex Baldwin impression was ----.. of course impression wasnt great.. POTUS doesnt understand word.. PARODY. (out of thread).

He spent $50,000,000 and he didn't want to be president right? Oh dear...... As I said Mr Dale, you're a legend in your own lunchtime.

For sure he has already had that come back prob in revenue with Trump family sadly.. .. (let alone the tax write off benefits).. Just quoting Howard.. his mate/my acquaintance.. My "lunch time legend" continues with a tad under a mill viewers a week currently Vince..Sky 537 for you this evening.. keep ringing the no eye contact bell sweetpea and try n think of a new piece of QQ.. bored with your repetition..vincemunday wrote:He spent $50,000,000 and he didn't want to be president right? Re: What makes America the greatest country in the world
you maybe right Liam, I think the whole idea was just to promote the Trump brand, even all that money he spent well he didn't spend that much. but what great value advertising, cheap, relentless and always photos outside one of his hotels, he spent so much time plumping his business I forgot he was actually running. even if he did spend millions of his own money it was well worth it. last year I saw more of trump than I did of McDonolds. too right he's a business man..he spends $10,000,000 of his own cash and manages to get to be president, McDonalds spent $963,000,000 last year only to have falling sales. perhaps McDonalds need to give him a job

Im a noob Brit.. but it was a fun year of QQ.. Reality TV became POTUS reality TV.. And now I am an SNL youtube viewer.. and livin the dream of irony.. ... (PS over for some bread tomoro).
