The speculation began as soon as the word got out. Nobody in his/her's right mind would trust anything said by the RTP on that island nor should a "medical examiner" and an "autopsy" be trusted. Whether or not this was the work of the serial killer, he is still on the loose.

Wish you people got your facts right before posting absolute CRAP.
This poor young person died from natural causes as confirmed by her family
Too many idiots posting on here without knowing the true facts.

What were the "natural causes"? I've yet to see any explanation. Pneumonia possible, bad drug intereaction, which is not a natural cause. While I don't claim to be an expert at investigation and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn last night, some 10 years as a certified/commissioned law enforcement officer and about the same as a federal and state fire fighter and a little time as an USMC MP, gives me a little insight as to how cases are handled. They certainly aren't handled like those on KT. While this lady's death may well have been "natural", if dying at that young age could ever be considered "natural", I seriously doubt not only the ability but the will to do any proper investigation in KT. Hence, the "speculation". And yes, the killer is still on the loose and many people that live there know it.

Life would be much duller if we didn't speculate. A link would have been useful.

Regarding the murder case of the British tourist in Koh Tao several months ago, the police has already solved the case, arrested the suspects and clarified the situation to the diplomatic corps. The handling of the case has respectively improved the image of Koh Tao island in Surat Thani province, said the governor. - See more at: http://thainews.prd.go.th/centerweb/new ... IOSn3.dpuf

Meanwhile tourist numbers for last years high season were down by nearly 20% according to some Thai govt departments.

I imagine they got told from above to stop publishing any negative figures.

A struggling bar owner is convinced by his girlfriend and cop friends of his girlfriend to sell weed. Now, what could possibly go wrong with that? I hope Andrew isn't trying to drum up any sympathy with that article.

The guy was selling various drugs, and deserved jail time. I have no sympathy for him. I am not sure what purpose is behind the article by Khun Drummond. How could anyone feel anything but disdain for this guy?

Maybe he is just pointing out the fact that the Thai police set the guy up by encouraging him to sell drugs.
