Congrats from Mash .

Fatherhood certainly is a rollercoaster ride , last night my 10 year old son sat me down and blew my world apart , his words ........... i dont want to upset you but i know santa isnt real , you bought my presents and put the white footprints near the balcony door and ate half the mince pie we left out for him ....... trying to cover up saying santa was busy so i helped him , and how do you know hes not real then ??

his reply ......... i googled santa clause /father christmas on the net .......... GAME OVER !!

MASH ........... i still thort he was real , who got me the cider then ?......... Jeremy i forgot twas you

the pics of your new arrival havent come up on my screen, must be a worm hole or something in the ether, but as a dad, and even a grandad, welcome to the club. Sort of gives ones life a kind of purpose, and sense of direction doesnt it..when I look back on it, heck geez did I sure run my parents thru hell when I was a teenager, and my kids were the same, but its all part of it, even the decade I was lost to them..theres nothing like family matey, especially having your own little family..all the best

A bit hard to imagine another on the way at the moment-an imminent possibility, though. My wife was 43 kilos before becoming pregnant & 61 at birth! That's quite a stretch ;) We've talked about having a second child someday-the wife is in no hurry & I don/t blame her. Her body snapped back pretty quickly, but I understand her wanting to enjoy a normal & unencumbered physique for a while. It took about 6 months for weight to gradually drop to around normal.

With a beautiful 2 year old girl and 4 year old boy, I confidently state that a second child brings exponential growth to the love, fun, challenge, expense etc. involved with fatherhood. Best things I ever did, more please.

FYI my wife's weight loss after 2nd child was a bit more challenging and she loves to eat and was never small anyway, though she is close enough to her normal weight before any pregnancy. Not a big issue anyway, is it?

Agree with you Skyy. There is nothing on earth that can compare to the feeling of watching your own grow and develop. Here is my little princess, Janjao, taking her very first steps.

Indeed. Cherish those great moments when they are still young. Makes for wonderful moments to look back on. Cheers!
