beer monkey, can you put in the url (like farang did, above) on your youtube posts? A lot of us TOT customers over here are being blocked from viewing youtube and the url (plus adding "&fmt=18" on the end of the url) is a temporary way to get around it. Thanks, khap.

Same here trubrit, even when I add the &fmt=18, I still can't watch. That 'fix' only worked for about 3 days.

I'm able to view all of these videos now, BM. Thanks. :D

I have No-IP.com program installed on my computer so maybe that's why the &fmt=18 is working for me? Still get the message on some other vids, tho. :?

For several months now I have had problems with Youtube, via my TOT ADSL.

If in the Youtube website, the spinning thing in the middle of the clip screen will just keep spinning, and no video appears.

If an embedded Youtube clip eg as shown in UdonMap, the clip screen will just show "This video no longer available"

I have now discovered an apparent solution to the problem (on Thai Visa).

If in the Youtube website, you may see an option just under the clip screen which says "watch in high quality". Just click on this and wait.

If the option is not there, simply add "&fmt=18" (without the "s) at the end of the web address at the top of your browser.

This will not work if you are trying to view an embedded clip. In this case simply left click on the menu button at the bottom of the clip screen. Copy (ctrl - c) the url address, then paste (ctrl - v) it into the the Youtube website, and follow the earlier instructions.

A little drive around Udon with Da Endorphine in the background... Sorry for the shaky camera.

Anybody that hasn't seen the demise of soi fahlang might find the view unusual. I park on what was TPI.

Around 6mns watch the lights... I have green.. The motorbike goes through and then the Mitsubishi passes in front of me. Another customer of Buddha Insurance Co...

Unfortunately the fukcwits at TOT have become aware of this workaround, and it no longer works

Finally... a work-a-round. For those who are posting YouTube videos to the forum pages, PLEASE in the future, display the URL of the YouTube link on the same posting. This way the 'rest' of us can watch it as well.

For those of you who are having a problem watching YouTube due to your TOT ADSL connection - PM me and I'll send you the work-a-round. It's been working great for me but it's a SECRET!! and cannot be published, otherwise the same thing will happen as happened with the &fmt-18 'fix'.

Da Endorphine. ... Irish Allen, is that the name of the artist singing on your vid?
I was in Udon in April and I love that music. It brought back all the great memories of that last trip.

Please guys, keep posting these vids. Just for us poor unfortunates who don't live there yet. You don't realise how much some of us enjoy these.

Still 3 years before I can live there. That vid almost brought tears. And BM, I nearly pissed myself at 7.13 mins. On both viewings.
