Lee, There is NO Substitute for the Real Thing....One Question about these CHEAP pretend pools,If One is made from Supertough PVC,& The other made from Reinforced PVC,Then why do they supply a REPAIR kit with both of them....

I got one of the cheaper ones....payed under £20 in Makro's...But had to bring it over to Thailand myself, pretty tough too, takes some filling but with out chemicals etc the water will need changing regular......Not sure if the locals approve especially during drought times...but who cares and they are not allowed in anyway.....

i have one of these 8900 baht pools set up in the courtyard of The Bookhouse and Coffee Shop if any want to take a look .

whilst i agree with 747Man that they cannot be compared to the *real thing * , at the price of just 8900 baht they are good value for money.

our son Oliver enjoyed his very first time in a rubber ring today, messing around in the pool with daddy
had about an hour of fun , lots of baby laughs , with many many more to come .

from my point of view , living in rented accommodation and not wanting to invest in a fixed pool for the benefit of the owner AND not being able to afford a real pool anyway 8900 baht is a small investment for all the fun and pleasure it will give .

Might be a stupid question but Is there any reason you couldn't excavate a large enough hole, shore up the walls, drop one of these into it and set up some wood decking around the top? I've got a 5m square piece of covered, concreted land outside our bedroom..... would be nice to lounge in a pool rather than a deck chair.

Jeremy, I Am not against Peter Pool. Co in anyway, Just that I prefer the "Real Thing " But as you point out IF you only rent I Would NOT go to the expense of a Real one,We do own our house,But then again we are thinking of Moving next year,But I'm certain it has ADDED value to the property,when we decide to do so.

The pool appears to be sound, but I would really have to look at the size of the filtering system, it is not big enough for that amount of water. It will be working hard to maintain water quality and fear it may just seize up, overheat and burn. For the price, even if you upgraded to a larger more efficient filtering system, it seems to be good value. Hope it is a success for you.

I always wish to have my swimming pool in our own home, I guess this is the answer in my question. Maybe I gonna get my order about this Plastic Swimming pool Thailand.
