Scunthorpe are off to the seaside for the weekend - Torquay.

The Dorking Wanderers have a drive around the M25 to play Dagenham & Redbridge.

Indeed a long trip for the Scunny faithfull taday ernie ..following on from.2 draws n a win im.hoping the Iron can pick up the points or at least 1 on the English Riviera later ..

Prediction .head says . 1-1 .. but a sneaky 2-1 in my heart.

Dont give up yer day job Alan .. tuk tuk driver and real estate agent ..

Usually a few go away to this fixture as its the only time the Scunthonians see the sea n sun ... im informed cicra 200 traveling to Torgay today with some arriving 9am for candy floss and a donkey ride... not bad for a club currently in turmoil and low in the NL .. when Scunny turn the corner and climb up the leagues all the way to the Champions League im sure they will take a good following to Real Ale Madrid and Barfelona .. remind me again how many games have Everton won this season ?? and how was their last outing in the Champions league ??? ..errrrrrr maybe not.

Now back in yer box yer lilac loving fool.

Just a point at Torquay but the boys have a weekend on the beer.

Dorking Wanderers got a good win.

A mate just sent this pic of Scunny fans on their way to Torquay (p*ss stop in East London), although I doubt the authenticity due to the fact their supporters club were still 2 short of filling the Fiat 126 for the trip on Friday

Seems to have gone relatively unoticed but 2 former footballing heavyweights met in.the National League last night ..Oldham.v Scunny ...it ended 2-2 this keeping both clubs .... politely away from.the promotion n play off action
Early days n things can and hopefully will change

Well done to the circa 500 scunny fans who made the trip .
